Using the @Picklist (or something that looks like) in a Script

I want to use the user interface of a @Picklist in a script.

The idea is that the user has a friendly way of selecting a document from a view, via an action in a document, a value is returned (as with a @Picklist) but than I want to work with the return value in a script. I know there is the "Evaluate"-feature in script but this apparently this doesn't work.

Can someone please help me with this problem?
