Domino Overview

Domino is server technology which transforms Lotus Notes® into an Internet applications server. Domino brings together the open networking environment of Internet standards and protocols with the powerful application development facilities of Notes, providing you with the ability to rapidly develop a broad range of business applications for the Internet and Intranet.

Using Domino, you can build applications which leverage access control to databases, views, pages, forms and even fields. This allows you to present information or commands differently to different users, though all the information resides within one database or application.
