Introduction
to Groupware, Workflow, and Workgroup Computing
by Setrag Khoshafian, Marek
Buckiewicz
I found this book to be a very good introduction to Groupware. It spends a lot of time defining the concepts and listing alternative approaches.
Groupware : Collaborative Strategies for
Corporate Lans and Intranets
- David Coleman (Editor);
Paperback
This book is a 700 page, 35 chapter collection of groupware related material. It covers it all. From overviews, through case studies to descriptions of the major "groupware" players. Heavy going in parts, but definitely the "all you ever wanted to know about Groupware" book.
Workflow Strategies
James G. Kobielus / Paperback / Published 1997
A very thorough planning guide for implementing workflow applications. In addition to a workflow overview, the book contains many chapters on the workflow market and the solutions available. There is extensive coverage of the Workflow Management Coalitions reference model.
